About COBSE India

COBSE is a consortium of Boards of School Education across India, working collectively to strengthen and standardize the school education system.
COBSE coordinates with various Education Boards, State Governments, and the Ministry of Education (formerly MHRD), Government of India, to promote and propagate quality school education in alignment with the spirit of the Right to Education.
COBSE is established and incorporated as a legal entity under the relevant provisions of the Government of India, ensuring transparency and accountability in its functioning.
COBSE is a non-profit, autonomous organization dedicated to supporting and representing all School Education Boards and Councils across the country.
COBSE assists Education Boards in developing high-quality curricula, syllabi, and course materials in accordance with the guidelines of the National Curriculum Framework (NCF 2005) developed by NCERT.
